Vann York Subaru with Randolph County Animal Services - Savanna W.

On October 21st, 2023, Vann York Subaru of Asheboro teamed up with Randolph County Animal Services to host an in-person adoption event at the shelter. We saw a great turn out at this event, with several citizens coming out to find their new furry family member. The Vann York Subaru team was very helpful throughout this event from start to finish. They stepped in to assist our staff and potential adopters every chance they had, and we could not be more thankful for their help in making this adoption event a smooth-moving success. When a citizen made the final decision to adopt a pet from us, you could sense the genuine excitement of every person assisting with our Subaru Loves Pets adoption event. After completing any necessary paperwork, a Vann York Subaru team member would cheerfully present a Subaru gift/starter box to the adopter and inform them that Subaru had covered their adoption fee in full. It was so nice to watch the joy from both the Subaru employee's and the adopters throughout the entire event. One of the adoptions that took place during our event was a dog named Kim. The lady that adopted Kim had come to a couple of our adoption events in the past but could never find her perfect fit. However, with the help of Subaru we were able to pair her with the perfect dog! Through our partnership with Vann York Subaru in the month of October we were able to find forever homes for twenty-six cats, twenty-nine dogs, and three guinea pigs. We are very thankful for the impact that Subaru continues to make in the lives of shelter animals and we are looking forward to partnering up next year!

Vann York Subaru's very own Shop Foreman Spanky to the rescue! They ran down the busy road, dodging busy traffic and ended up heading towards the dealership. Spared from any harm, thanks to the work of our team, the sweet pups were soon reconnected with their family. 🐾

Full Bellies, Full Hearts: Subaru Dealership provides food for local pets awaiting adoption - Christine B.

Vann York Subaru partnered with Randolph County Animal Services to provide the love and support every pet deserves. As the number of pets without a home increase, the local shelters fill up, and the food supplies run low. Awareness goes hand in hand community engagement and Vann York Subaru recognized the importance of shining a light on the need at hand. From a single social media post asking users to share images of their own pets, the power of the internet was quickly made clear as hundreds of photos were shared. In response, Vann York Subaru donated over 3000 pounds of pet food to Randolph County Animal Adoption Center. Vann York Subaru employees took the time to load up seven Subaru vehicles with pet food, drive, and deliver the bags of food to the Adoption Center. This initiative ensured that the animals at the Adoption Center would have plenty to eat according to their dietary needs, as they await a lifetime of love and compassion with their adopted families.
